I'm a self-taught artist specializing in creating hand painted fabrics for fashion accessories. Though my initial start was as an Interior Designer, I branched out into garment painting which led to manufacturing ladies hand painted clothing. After a brief hiatus with that I decided to use my artistry on handbags.

I always want to take whatever I do to a higher level so just painting purses was not enough for me; I wanted to jump in with the design and fabrication too. So I did. I taught my self how to make purses that feature my painted fabrics. My handbag line is called Teri Monique Handbags.

I also love to write. I was never one to write in school and discovered this gift later in life. It began with poems and then moved to books.

I believe in sharing good news and positive encouraging words. I love to help people maximize their potential in life to be the best they can be.

Most of us know when we're down and out of whack; when things are just not right. During those times we don't need another person to highlight our shortcomings but to take our hand and help us off that path on to the right one to fulfill our destiny.

My books are called "When My Spirit Sings" a book of inspirational poems and "Trapped on Kooky Island" an action adventure book for kids co-written with my husband Tellis. Both books are available at Amazon.com.
